Trust
Trust was a stressful thing for me.
I had some foundational trust and at the same time, wasn’t very trusting of myself or my capabilities.
I struggled with fully trusting other people - or more specifically their energy, continually trusting in the Universe when there is so much suffering happening in the world, trusting in this Reiki thing that I didn’t know whether it worked or not.
But now looking back I realize that Reiki has been a huge shape-shifter for my relationship with trust.
We’re asked to:
Trust that it’s always working - Meaning whether or not the person or I can sense the energies moving or are able to interpret what’s going on or what they mean, the energy is continually flowing and it goes exactly where it needs to
Trust in Divine Orchestration / Divine Timing - just because I may not feel it or know what’s going on, doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening. I may not understand the information now, but there’s a reason that it’s coming through.
Trust my Intuition - Reiki is an intuitive Healing Art. With each attunement in Reiki our intuition automatically increases. This helped me in decoding and understanding my intuitive symbols and to be able to trust my Spirit Squad (spirit guides, ancestors, etc). I’ve gone from requiring a symbol to show up 3x in order to share it to just trusting and sharing what I’m sensing automatically. Remember, it’s a practice for us to re-build that relationship with our intuition.
All of this is definitely easier to do when we’re clear on our intention - which we’ll talk about tomorrow.
